Boston--Online pearl company Museum Way Pearls is hosting a $1,500
pearl necklace giveaway via a treasure hunt on social networking and
microblogging service Twitter.
According to a media release, the Boston-based company will list a series of pearl-related trivia questions on Twitter, and people who send in the correct answers will have a chance to win a Museum Way Pearls black Akoya pearl necklace valued at $1,500.
The contest, which begins on Aug. 22 at 10:00 a.m. EST and ends on Aug. 22 after the winners have been chosen, will work in the following way, according to the company:
Step 1. Follow Museum Way Pearls on Twitter at @MuseumWayPearls.
Step 2. Watch Tweets by @MuseumWayPearls on Aug. 22, when the company will post 10 pearl-related trivia questions throughout the day.
Step 3. Record the answers as you go.
Step 4. When you have the answer to the 10th question, visit Museum Way Pearls' giveaway page at MuseumWayPearls.com/Giveaway-Enroll. Fill out the giveaway form and type all answers in the comments section. The company will accept all entries for 30 minutes after the final question is posted on Twitter and will then randomly draw a winner.
Step 5. The winner will be posted on Aug. 22 at Museum Way Pearls' blog site, MuseumWayPearls.com/Blog.
In addition, the company will select a second-place winner to receive a
$50 pearl jewelry gift certificate to spend at Museum Way Pearls, where
he or she can pick from a wide variety of high-quality cultured pearls.
